Three awards from the Electronics Industry Association

TDK has received three prestigious awards from ELCINA, the Indian Electronics Industry Association. Two first prizes were given for outstanding innovations in the field of power capacitors and for environmental protection and sustainable development. In addition, TDK received a Special Jury Award for exceptional contributions to the development of the electronics sector in India.

“We are very proud to be recognized by ELCINA for our efforts in innovation, sustainability and our contribution to the electronics sector,” said Prabal Ray, Chairman and Managing Director TDK India. “Our high-end products and initiatives such as Miyawaki forest development in Nashik demonstrate TDK India's strong commitment to pushing technological boundaries while protecting the environment. Our sustainability journey is driven by the belief that innovation and responsibility go hand in hand.”

The first prize for outstanding innovations was given for the development and production of PEC, MKP, AC and DC capacitors. These products impress with their enhanced performance, reliability, and adaptability to modern electrical applications. The award was received by Anant Marathe, Chief Manager R&D PFC.

ELCINA presented the first prize in the category of environmental protection and sustainable development in recognition of the company's commitment to planting the Miyawaki Forest at the Nashik site. This innovative approach to reforestation involves the planting of dense, fast-growing forests that significantly contribute to carbon sequestration, biodiversity and greening. Hitesh Chopada, General Manager Purchase, accepted this award on behalf of TDK.

Finally, TDK also received the Special Jury Award for its outstanding contribution to the growth and development of the electronics sector in India. TDK's commitment to expanding manufacturing capabilities in India, introducing new products and nurturing local talent were recognized as critical to the country's ambitions to become a global electronics hub. This prestigious award was received by Prabal Ray, Chairman and Managing Director TDK India, Michael Chinn, Deputy General Manager of the ECBC Sales & Marketing Group.
